Why we built HeyNum

Getting a second number always came with strings attached

A second SIM card needs a dual-SIM phone, a contract and, in most countries, an identity check. Second-number apps need a download — and many ask for a passport scan and a selfie, work on a single phone, or charge more if your SIM card comes from another country.

We thought it should be as simple as opening a tab. So we built HeyNum: a genuine mobile number in one of 19 countries that works in any browser, on every device you own, with nothing to install and nothing to prove.

You pick a country, pay with an email address, and your number is live in seconds. Calls, texts, verification codes and voicemail follow you from your laptop to your phone. When you don't need the number any more, you let it go in one click.
