Your first minute with HeyNum
Getting started
There's no store, no download, no SIM card in the post and no identity check to wait for.
Pick one of 19 countries. Every price is shown upfront, and it's the same wherever you live. Every feature is included: just pay monthly or yearly — yearly gets you two months free.
Enter your email address and pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or crypto. That's all we ask: no passport scan, no selfie, no proof of address, no existing phone number.
Your number is assigned the moment your payment clears. It appears on screen and in your welcome email, and HeyNum opens in your browser, ready to call and text.
Every day
Once you're set up, HeyNum works like the phone you already know — just without the phone.

On / Off & schedulesWhat you need
HeyNum runs on the web standards already built into your browser, so it works on the devices you have today.
Works on
Calls and notifications on iPhone and iPad need Safari 16.4 or later. For background notifications on iOS, add HeyNum to your home screen.
Optional
HeyNum is a web app, so your browser can add it to your home screen or dock. It then opens in its own window — no app store, no download.
Under the hood
Your HeyNum number is a real mobile line on the phone network. Your browser simply becomes the handset.
Numbers come from the mobile ranges of each country, through licensed carrier partners — so they ring and receive texts like any other mobile.
Calls use WebRTC, the standard built into every modern browser, with the Opus codec for clear, HD voice even on mobile data.
The app is served over HTTPS, and call audio between your browser and our servers is encrypted with DTLS-SRTP.
Messages, voicemail and settings live in your account, not on one device — sign in anywhere and pick up where you left off.
